About the Lake Benbrook Half Marathon, 10K, & 5K
The course runs along Lake Benbrook, starting and finishing at Dutch Branch Park. The routes follow the lake, so there is open water nearby for much of the run. It is a winter race, which keeps temperatures manageable, and the scenery along the shore gives you something to look at when the effort picks up.
Packet pickup opens early on race morning at the park, so you can roll in, grab your bib, and get warm before the start. Awards are handed out on-site the same day and will not be mailed, so plan to stick around if you are chasing a podium spot.
