About the Lacey 5K

The course runs through Gillie Park on certified road, flat the whole way through. The park setting gives you trees and open space rather than strip malls and traffic, and the route is straightforward enough that you can focus on running instead of navigation.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Recreation building, giving you a chance to sort your bib before race morning. After the race, there is a post-race barbecue sponsored by a local restaurant chain, and age group and overall awards go several levels deep.
