About the Lace Up for Kids: 5k, 10 mi, & Bake Sale
The course runs out and back along a bike path, starting and finishing at Cherry Rock Park. It is flat the whole way, with no real elevation to speak of, so you can focus on pace rather than footing. The Kiwanis Club puts this on as a fundraiser, and a bake sale runs at the park around race time, open to runners and non-runners alike.
Packet pickup the evening before is at a local bank branch, with race-morning pickup also available. The post-race bake sale is a free-will donation setup, so bring a little cash if you want to stick around after you finish.
