About the La Terre Farms Fall Trail 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run
The trail course winds through La Terre Farms, a working flower farm outside Kiln. Underfoot it is natural trail, and the surroundings are farm fields rather than pavement or park paths. The race falls on Halloween morning, and costumes are encouraged, so expect the start line to look a little different than most trail races.
After finishing, the farm stays open for the morning. There is post-race food and drinks, and a Pilates session geared toward runners is offered as a separate add-on for those who want to stick around. U-pick flowers from the farm fields are available for purchase once the racing is done.
