About the Krampus 5K and Walk
The course runs out and back from the Utica Maennerchor Club, a German-American cultural institution, up to a polytechnic university campus and back. The terrain is straightforward and the route gives you a good sense of the area between the club and campus. The Krampus theme adds some character to what is otherwise a classic winter road race.
A post-race party inside the Maennerchor club follows the run. Packet pickup opens well before the start on race morning, so there is time to get sorted without rushing. The club itself is the start, the finish, and the gathering point afterward.
