About the Kiwanis El Segundo PTA Run for Education 5K
The course winds through residential neighborhoods on closed streets, rated easy to moderate with some rolling terrain. The longer distance essentially repeats the same loop, so you get a feel for the route before you commit to the second pass. The race starts and finishes at the local high school, which gives the event a rooted, school-community feel. Proceeds go directly to the district's public schools.
Packet pickup runs over two evenings before race day, with race-morning pickup available at the start. A post-race expo fills the finish area after runners come through.
