About the Kiwanis Club of Newburgh Scholarship Run

The course loops around Chadwick Lake on a wide gravel trail. The ground is mostly level with a few gentle rises scattered through the route, making it manageable for most paces. The lake and the surrounding park trees come into view throughout, and in the fall the foliage gives the whole loop a lot of color.

After the finish, there is food along with raffle baskets donated by local businesses, which gives the post-race area a community gathering feel without being chaotic.
