This is a fundraiser for a local school's cross country and track program, held on the school's own track in Kinde. The course is a standard road 5K, and age group winners in both the run and walk categories take home a turkey or a pie rather than hardware.
Packet pickup is near the cafeteria on race morning before the start, and parking is in the elementary school lot. Post-race awards follow fairly quickly after the last finishers come in.
