About the Killing Tree Wine Run 5k
The course starts and finishes at the winery and spends most of its time climbing through the vineyard property. The hills are real and they keep coming, but the route finishes on a downhill back to the finish area, which softens the effort at the end. The surrounding landscape is open and scenic throughout.
Packet pickup opens the morning of the race, about an hour before the start, so there is no need to make a separate trip. The winery serves breakfast and specialty cocktails during race hours for an additional charge, so there is plenty of reason to linger after you finish.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Killing Tree Wine Run 5k has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
