About the Killeen Half MaraFUN
This is the half marathon leg of a regional race series, so points carry over and age group awards are part of the draw. The course runs through Killeen, though the organizer did not publish a route map, so if terrain is a priority, the start area is the best place to ask.
Packet pickup runs across a couple of evenings before race day at the Family Recreation Center on Stan Schlueter Loop, with a shorter window on race morning at the start line. The time limit for the half marathon is generous, which suits a wide range of paces.
