About the Kennedy Kids Foundation 4th Annual 5K & 8K!
The course runs through the campus of Barry University and out into the surrounding neighborhood streets, the same streets where the race's namesake grew up. The roads are closed for the event, so runners have the pavement to themselves. It is a flat urban route, and both distance options share the same start area outside the campus mall.
Packet pickup is available the afternoon before the race at a running store on Biscayne Boulevard, with race-morning pickup outside Farrell Hall as well. Plan to arrive early, before road closures go into effect. After the finish, there are vendor tables, family activities, and an awards presentation with cash prizes for top finishers.
