About the Keep Going; Turkey Trot
The course winds through the wooded interior of Merchant Millpond State Park, giving the route a canopied, shaded feel that most Turkey Trots cannot offer. A younger kids' fun run option means families show up in full force, and the mood is about as unhurried as a state park morning gets.
Proceeds go to a local foundation focused on mental health support and student scholarships. It is one of those races where the entry fee is doing real work in the community, and that tends to shape who turns out and how the morning feels.
