About the Keel Farms Christmas Wine Run 5k
The winery is both start and finish, and the route loops through the working farm a couple of times. Underfoot you get grass, dirt, gravel, and pavement in rotation, with turns that take you through the blueberry fields. Mud is possible depending on the weather, so this is not a course where you chase a personal best, but it is a genuinely unusual place to run.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the winery, and a friend can collect your packet if you send them your check-in code. Parking is a short walk from the start. On race day, arriving early is worth it if you still need your packet, since the winery gets busy. There is wine at the finish.
