About the KC Running Company's Rockin' New Year's Day Run
The course is an out-and-back through the Martin City neighborhood, so you retrace your steps on the way home. The route is described as fast, which fits the flat out-and-back shape. Loud music plays along the course, which gives the morning a different feel than a quiet winter run.
The race starts and finishes in Martin City, and age group and overall awards are handed out after. It is a New Year's Day morning event, so expect a crowd that showed up on purpose, not by accident.
