About the Kathy's Run for Cancer

The course starts at the high school and winds through the surrounding streets and countryside. The longer distance covers the same route as the shorter one, looping it twice, with the start and finish in separate chutes. Aid stations are placed out on the course, and the untimed fun run the evening before gives the event a two-day feel.

Packet pickup runs the evening before the main race at the high school, with race-morning pickup opening early. The fun run goes off that same evening, so runners doing both distances can settle in the night before. Strollers are welcome on the course; dogs and wheeled equipment are not.
