About the Karis' Cause 5K

The course runs on pavement through and around a college campus, crossing over a state route and passing near a creek before looping back. It is flat enough to feel manageable, with the surroundings shifting between campus grounds and open road. The race benefits children fighting cancer, so the crowd tends to carry some weight alongside the enthusiasm.
