About the KAR Turkey Trot Time Prediction Run
This race runs on the cross country course behind an elementary school, which gives it a different feel from a road race. The format is a time-prediction run, so the goal is not just to finish fast but to finish closest to the time you called beforehand. Speed awards are also on the table, and there is a best-dressed competition for anyone who shows up in holiday costume.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at Mitten Running Company, or on race morning at the school before the start. The race accepts nonperishable goods and cash donations for a local food bank at the event. Dogs and bicycles are not permitted on the course.

The KAR Turkey Trot Time Prediction Run has been held every year since at least 2015. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
