About the K-State Homecoming Philanthropy 5K and Virtual 5K Run/Walk
This race is part of K-State's homecoming weekend and benefits Flint Hills Breadbasket, a food assistance organization that serves the Manhattan area. The in-person course starts at the K-State Alumni Center, and a virtual option lets participants complete their run on their own schedule during the days leading up to homecoming. Awards go to top finishers across several categories.
Packet pickup happens at the Alumni Center the evening before the race and again on race morning before the start. If you choose the virtual option and want your packet mailed, it ships out during the week before the event; otherwise, you collect it at the same location.
