The course starts and finishes at Junkyard Brewing Company, winding through city streets before picking up a trail along the Red River. It is a midweek evening run, which gives it a different feel than a weekend race, a little looser, people showing up after work with friends. The river stretch is the highlight.
Beer is waiting at the finish, poured at the brewery where you started. That is the whole post-race plan, and it works.
