About the Jr. Hands Across South Texas 19th Annual Thanksgiving 10K 5K Run/Walk
This is a Thanksgiving morning race in Laredo with both a shorter and a longer distance option. The event raises money for people in need in the local community, which gives the morning a purpose beyond just the run itself. Awards go deep into age groups, and timing uses both gun and chip methods depending on your category.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at an Orangetheory Fitness location on E Del Mar, during a window in the late afternoon and early evening. There is a student discount that applies automatically at registration, so younger runners do not need to do anything extra to get it.
