About the John Jay Community Trail Race
The course starts on open fields on a school campus, then drops into wooded trails behind the middle school and high school. Once you are in the trees, the terrain gets hilly and technical. The route comes back out to a track and field area at the finish, so the last stretch is open and fast after everything you just ran through.

The John Jay Community Trail Race has been held every year since at least 2018. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
