About the JNF 5K Turkey Trot
This is a Thanksgiving morning race in Rensselaer, benefiting the Jasper Newton Foundation's community grant funds, with donations matched beyond what registration alone brings in. The course is a road 5K, approachable for runners and walkers alike, and the whole thing is designed to wrap up before families need to be at the table.
Start-line registration opens before the gun, so you can show up, sign in, and go. Light post-race refreshments are waiting at the finish. The race runs on Thanksgiving morning, so plan accordingly if you have family commitments later in the day.
