About the 4th Annual JMU PASS Charity 5K
The course winds through the east side of a university campus, past academic buildings and open green space. It starts and finishes behind the main student center, so the crowd at the finish line is easy to find. The route is paved and mostly flat, the kind of terrain that suits any pace. Proceeds go to local shelter and free healthcare organizations.
Parking is available for those who do not have a campus permit. Post-race snacks and drinks are set up at the finish, and age group prizes are awarded after the race wraps up.
