About the Jingle Jingle Jingle All The Way 5k
The course runs out and back along a greenway from the Statesville Soccer Complex. It is mostly flat and quick underfoot, with one hill to break things up. Runners tend to show up in Santa hats and festive gear, and the race benefits the Iredell County Special Olympics, so there is a real reason behind the morning beyond the miles.
The race is free to enter, with a donation to the Special Olympics encouraged if you are able. The Soccer Complex serves as the start and finish, so parking and facilities are straightforward. It draws a wide mix of paces, and the holiday costumes are half the show.
