The course winds through a working Christmas tree farm, so you are running past rows of trees rather than through a park or along a road. Underfoot it shifts between gravel trail and grass and dirt paths, which means jogging strollers can handle it but road shoes will feel the terrain. It is a genuinely unusual setting for a race.
