About the Jingle Bell 5k
The course winds through downtown Montrose streets while a broader holiday festival fills the town around it. Carolers and the scent of Christmas trees are part of the backdrop, not just the race itself. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, and holiday attire fits right in here. The race runs snow or shine, so dress for whatever the morning brings.
Bibs are picked up the morning of the race before the start. After you finish, the festival continues around you, with horse-drawn carriage rides, live music, a visit from Santa, and free activities throughout the day.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Jingle Bell 5k has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
