About the Jerome Hill Climb 2026
The route originates at the historical museum in the center of town, then climbs through Jerome's old streets before turning onto a dirt road that passes the Gold King Mine. It finishes at a high point with an open view toward Sedona. The terrain mixes pavement and dirt, and the climbing is sustained throughout.
Parking is limited in town, and the main lot is near the firehouse. From there it is about a mile downhill on foot to the start, which means the walk back after the race goes the other direction. There is no parking at the start line. Water and snacks are at the finish before runners head back down.
