The course follows the Olympic Discovery Trail as an out-and-back, starting at dusk when the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe's lights are already on. Headlamps or flashlights are required to participate, which shapes the whole feel of the evening. It is road running, flat trail surface, and the darkness is the point.
