About the ITRA End of Summer Member Event
The run takes place at Strawtown Koteewi Park, which gives it a natural, open setting away from roads and traffic. The event is put on by a local trail running association for its members, so the crowd tends to know each other, and the atmosphere follows from that.
After the run, there is food and beer at the finish. If you want to bring a side dish to share with the group, the organizers encourage it. It is more of a gathering than a race, and the post-run spread reflects that.
