About the Isle of Wight Turkey Trot & Waddle 5K
This is a Thanksgiving-week 5K hosted by a small community club on Isle of Wight Road in Midway. The course is stroller friendly, and costumes are genuinely part of the scene, turkey getups and Santa suits both. The race is timed and awards go to top finishers by age bracket.
Registration and bib pickup open on race morning before the start, and the club hosts a chili cook-off once everyone is across the finish. One navigation note: some GPS systems pull up the wrong Fourth Street in Midway, so follow Isle of Wight Road all the way to the end.
