Mohawk Mountain Ski Area becomes the venue for a vertical endurance event that is more power-hiking than running, at least on the climbs. The mountain does not flatten out for you. Every ascent is earned, and the descent comes right back at you. Participants choose how many hours they want on the mountain, from a single day to a multi-day push through the night.
Some distance options require headlamp trekking after dark, so arriving prepared for night conditions matters. The event uses a self-managed pacing format, meaning you and any partner you bring set your own rhythm within the time window. A buddy registration option exists for those who want to share the suffering.
