About the Iron Mountain
The course runs through neighborhood streets and starts and finishes at the YMCA. It is a road race, flat enough that strollers are welcome, and dogs can come too. Awards go to the top finishers in the open race and in the youth category, and pies go to whoever shows up in the best Thanksgiving costume.
Packet pickup happens race morning at the YMCA before the start. The finish area has music and a post-run party, and there is pie involved, which is a reasonable way to begin a holiday.
