About the Iron Horse Half Marathon
The course runs as a modified out-and-back through the area around North Bend, rerouted after flood damage closed the original trail. The terrain is mostly gentle, with the only real climbing packed into the early miles before the route flattens out. It is a point-to-point shape, so you finish somewhere different from where you started.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
