About the Iowa Trail Run Series: Jester Park
The course winds past Saylorville Lake and through Jester Park, touching gravel, dirt, and grass along the way. A buffalo pasture sits near the route, so there is something to look at besides your footing. Distance options range from a standard road-race length up to an enduro format where you run as many loops as you can within a set time window.
Post-race food is part of the setup, and the organizers bring out lawn games as well. Bibs are custom-printed, and each race in the series rotates through a keepsake item, things like a buff, a mug, or a water bottle.
