About the Inland Valley Turkey Trot
The courses run along sidewalks and bicycle paths beside Menifee Lakes, so there is water alongside much of the route. The terrain is mostly flat with a downhill stretch at the start and one short climb back up to the finish. Several distance options are available, plus a combined endurance challenge for anyone who wants to run all of them back to back.
The start and finish are at Lago Vista Sports Park. After you finish, Baron's Market sets up snacks and refreshments, and local vendors sell breakfast burritos and coffee on site. Because the course uses open streets, you will share the road with traffic, though the route itself stays on sidewalks and bike paths throughout.
