About the Indian Mountain Miner's Mile 5K Run/Walk
The course runs through Indian Mountain State Park and dips into downtown Jellico, so you get the park's natural surroundings on one end and a bit of the town's history on the other. The terrain stays mostly flat throughout, which makes it comfortable at any pace.
Packet pickup and same-day registration both happen at the park before the start. After the race, there are refreshments and an awards ceremony for overall and age group leaders, so there is reason to hang around once you finish.
