About the Indian Ladder Farms Spiked Apple 5k
The course runs through the orchards and vineyards of a working farm outside Altamont, looping twice past apple trees and open field. The footing is uneven in places, with some short climbs, so road shoes with a little grip help. The route circles back to the cidery, and cider donuts and a pour of cider are waiting at the finish.

Going by the 2026 results, this is a decent-sized field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.
