About the Inclusion In Motion
The course is a loop through Heckscher State Park, and the format is time-based rather than distance-based: you keep going until the clock runs out, completing as many loops as you can. Participants can go solo, team up, or pair with an adaptive athlete as pusher or rider. The park setting is flat and paved enough to be fully accessible. Food trucks and live music run throughout the day.
Bib pickup is offered the day before at a physical therapy clinic in Islandia, with a second window on race morning at the Taylor Pavilion inside the park. The start area is at that same pavilion, so if you pick up on-site, you are already where you need to be.
