About the I've Got Their Six 6K Run/Walk & Virtual
This is a memorial run and walk held as part of Iola's Farm City Days fall festival, so the start area has a community-event feel rather than a pure race atmosphere. Law enforcement officers, survivors, and neighbors tend to line up together. The course is a modest distance, open to runners and walkers, and the virtual option lets people participate from anywhere in the country.
The event is co-hosted by the Allen County Sheriff's Office and a local fraternal lodge, among others, which shapes the tone of the morning. Proceeds support surviving families of officers killed in the line of duty through a statewide survivors organization. Race-day registration is accepted, though ordering ahead is the safer route for anyone who wants the full registration package.
