This is a breast cancer awareness race put on by a local health system, starting on Market Street in Lima. Runners and walkers both compete, and there are prizes for the best pink outfit on top of the age-group awards, so a lot of people show up in costume.
Registration opens race morning at the start line, so you do not need to pick up your packet the day before. The start time is prompt, so arriving early to sort your bib is worth it.
