About the Husky Hearts 5K
The course heads out from a charter school campus and winds through the streets of Lake Helen, passing the public library, a park corner, and a couple of residential intersections before coming back. It is a road race through a small town, so the surroundings are quiet and the route is easy to follow. Proceeds go toward equipment for the school's athletics programs.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the school, with race-morning pickup available at the middle school entrance. The start area is on campus.
