About the Huffin' for the Stuffin' The Brinkley Family Turkey Trot
This Thanksgiving morning race in Stephenville draws families, strollers, and dogs on leashes alongside runners of every pace. The distance is a short road course, and the feel is very much a neighborhood holiday tradition. Aid stations are set up along the way, and the event collects canned food donations for a local food pantry called Grace Place.
The start and finish are the same spot, and door prizes are handed out after runners and walkers have had time to finish. If you plan to run with a stroller or need extra time, the organizers ask that you think ahead about finishing before the prizes begin. Day-of registration is welcome at the start area.
