The course runs through South County Regional Park, and the themed event means you will likely see costumes on both runners and their dogs. Leashed pets are welcome to run or walk the whole route alongside their people. The surface has some uneven ground, so strollers are possible but a little awkward.
Pickup is on race morning, starting before the gun. There is finish-line food and drink for humans and dogs both.
