The course runs through Depot Park, and the event leans into a seasonal Halloween-themed format with dogs welcome on leashes alongside their people. The ground has some uneven stretches, so it is worth knowing that before you bring a stroller. This one draws a crowd that is as much about the animals and the cause as the running itself.
