About the 2026 Hot Diggity Dog 5K

This is a free race that raises support for a local animal shelter, with pet food, toys, and supplies collected at the start. The course begins at a high school, and the entry fee is waived entirely, which makes the morning feel less like a traditional road race and more like a neighborhood gathering with a cause behind it.

Packet pickup happens race morning at the high school, through a side entrance off Hudson Street. Parking is in the student lot. If you are bringing donated shelter supplies, there will be someone there to collect them before the gun goes off.
