About the Hot Chocolate & Eggnog Races

The course runs through one of the area's newer metro parks, Bank Run Metro Park, and the route has a scenic, open feel. There is an ugly sweater tradition here, so expect plenty of holiday costuming on the starting line. Near the finish, a cluster of oversized inflatable holiday figures makes for a hard-to-miss photo stop, weather allowing.

Post-race, hot chocolate and eggnog are set out at the finish along with snacks and fruit. The park offers free parking, and results come in quickly. Finish-line photos and video are part of the setup, so you do not need someone stationed along the course to catch the moment.
