About the Horning Farms Hustle - 5k & Fun Run

The course runs through a working dairy farm outside Manchester, passing crop fields, feed storage areas, and pens where young calves are kept. The shorter distance stays on concrete and packed dirt driveways close to the barns, while the longer route loops out through the fields before coming back to the center of the farm. The footing is mixed, part pavement, part dirt.

Chocolate milk and water are set out after the race, which fits the setting about as well as anything could. Dogs are asked to stay home, given how close the courses run to the animals.
