About the Hornet Run 5K & Fun Run
The Hornet Run is a high school student council fundraiser held at North Park in Vinita. The course is USATF certified, so the distance is accurate, and timing is handled by a professional timing company. The route starts and finishes at the park, and there is a shorter fun run option alongside the main race.
Packet pickup and race-day registration both open early on the morning of the race, with pickup wrapping up before the fun run goes off. North Park serves as the start and finish area for both distances.
