About the Hope in Motion 1k and 5k Run/Walk
This race starts at a local recovery center and is built around that mission. The morning includes live music, food trucks, a community resource fair, and taekwondo demonstrations, so there is plenty going on beyond the course itself. The route options let you go short or cover a more typical race distance, and both welcome any pace.
Bib pickup opens early on race morning, so you do not need to make a separate trip the day before. The start area has enough activity around it that waiting for your wave does not feel like standing around.
