About the Hope in Every Step 5K

The course runs on pavement through Ottawa Metro Park, with a few wooden bridge crossings along the way. It is a road race that moves at whatever pace you bring; strollers are welcome on the course. The race benefits a victim outreach program that works with older adults who have faced abuse or exploitation.

Check-in opens before the start, and the park shelter serves as the hub for the morning. There are refreshments and an awards ceremony after the race wraps up.
